KATWALK - KIDS
As a professional photographer I have come to realise that most kids and even parents are fed up with the traditional school photo. Most weddings now use Reportage style photography instead of the old traditional style, so I thought why not apply this to schools.
School photos for too long have stayed the same with bored looks and forced smiles. Why not make the kids look a bit more relaxed and trendy and show them having fun? Why not a photo even they would be proud to have on their wall?
Using special effect lighting and a Tiffen DFX Filter Programme I take fashion shots rather than normal school shots. I encourage the kids to think they are top models and how they would want to look as a Cover Girl or Boy; the reaction is amazing. I also have a very efficient method of getting rid of all teenage spots and blemishes from the photos, which makes kids very happy indeed.
